I know this is a truly insane thing to say, but here goes: I've never ... in my memory ... taken the M from Manhattan to Brooklyn before?? how??? I'm doing it now and it's a great view over the river (love 2 b a tourist in my own city)

sigh here's the thing: I've been on the J in my LIFE, I know that ... rarely ... but only within Manhattan or within Brooklyn, I THINK!?! I just really never had a reason to take that particular route!!! (I've been to places off that line, but by bike, bus or NY1 crew car)
